I teach piano at 45 Bexley Road in Roslindale, Massachusetts (previously in Santa Cruz, California and Biddeford, Maine). I work with students age 5 to 95 and provide piano lessons geared to each student’s level of ability, interest, and musical background.
I studied with Mary Lou Williams and am inspired by my mentor, Gary Fredrick, to engage each student’s learning path (see Teaching Philosophy). Lessons are offered on a 6'11" Yamaha Disklavier grand piano with the functionality to record a student’s progress.
My credo: To support, guide, and encourage the discovery of each student’s unique gifts for musical expression. The goal is to make the study of music engaging and fun.
I offer individual lessons Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon hours are available for home schoolers and adults.
For in-person lessons, my Roslindale studio is easy to find from Jamaica Plain, Chestnut Hill, Newton, West Roxbury, Dedham, Mattapan, Hyde Park, Dorchester, and Milton. I also offer virtual lessons to anyone who has a piano and access to the internet.
Now accepting new students.
