This is one of the only Piano Giants songs I worked out by ear (by-passing transcribing the recording and then learning the piece by reading the score), memorizing the notes as I went. The source I worked from is the 1957 Riverside release of Monk’s Music: Take 6 / Mono recording. To complement this recording, I finally made a partial transcript, and find great value now, in seeing and reading a representation of what I endeavored to put together so long ago.
