My wife Nina thought of the name for this. The stride feel evokes the old Warner Brothers cartoons where the houses and trees are bouncing up and down in very organic movements to the pulse of the music. The riffs and phrases are begged, borrowed, and stolen from the magnificent expressions of the Piano Giants from the Swing Era.
